How to start a Tel Aviv home search from abroad
Start remotely with a clear brief and a consistent way to compare options. Use calls, property information and walkthroughs to narrow the search, while keeping the details that still need verification visible.
Give the search a workable frame.
Share whether you are buying, renting long term or arranging a temporary stay. Add dates, budget, household needs, current time zone and a useful time to speak. If you plan to visit, name that window before arranging viewings.
Ask for a walkthrough with a purpose.
A useful live viewing begins outside and follows the normal entrance route. Ask to see the windows, storage, bedrooms and any feature that is essential to your brief. Pause to ask questions instead of simply recreating a polished promotional video.
- Street, entrance and route to the apartment
- Room layout and how spaces connect
- Outlook from each important window
- Included items and their visible condition
- The specific features your request depends on
Keep a written comparison.
For each option, record the date of the information, the current quote and the points still to confirm. Separate observations from promises. Ask who is responsible for the next step and what must be checked before you make any commitment.
Use arrival time well.
If you will make a decision in person, reserve time for the most relevant options and their surroundings. If you are considering proceeding remotely, identify which physical, contractual and professional checks you require first. The search should support that decision, not rush it.
Before we begin.
Can I start before I know my exact moving date?
Yes. Share a realistic window and mark it as provisional. Specific property availability will need checking once the dates become firmer.
Can Alexander help me narrow the areas before a visit?
Yes. Describe your routine and priorities, and we can use them to focus the area discussion before you spend time on viewings.
